Comment Policy

Your comments are welcome on this site providing they meet the following criteria…

You must leave a valid e-mail address to comment. You must also leave your real name to comment. We will never sell or share your e-mail address with anyone without your permission, but we need a valid e-mail address to verify that you are who you say you are.

By commenting here, you are granting us license to the content of your comment, and acknowledge that the authors do not have a duty to modify or withdraw posts, but that we may do so if we choose, for any reason.

This site strives to maintain an atmosphere of free & open conversation. “Constructive criticism” is okay. Personal attacks are not okay. Since we are a family-friendly site, we won’t approve comments containing offensive language. Personally, we don’t care. But since minors do read this site, we’re trying to be responsible.

If your comment contains a threat to stop reading the blog or listening to the show, we’ll mark it as spam. If you want to argue for argument’s sake, we won’t approve your comment.

This is a private website, and we reserve the right to delete any comments we find offensive.

We also won’t allow you to trash our sponsors on this blog.

We also won’t let you use our blog to promote your own blog, podcast, website, etc. We put a great deal of money, time and hard work into this effort. We didn’t do it so that you can financially profit from our sweat. If you want to buy an advertisement, contact us. If you want to spam us and our audience, go somewhere else please. We won’t allow any comment that contains multiple links.

Also, please avoid “Me too” comments. Try to add something original if you are going to respond.

If a commenter abuses our comment policy, then none of their comments will be published in the future (even if those subsequent comments are “good”).

Remember that anonymous comments or comments made under an assumed name will not be posted. Comments that smack of spam will be marked as spam. In short, be nice, be helpful, stay on topic, stand behind what you say, avoid being snarky or don’t comment.

If you’re going to comment, imagine that you were standing in front of the person to whom you are addressing your comment.

We reserve the right to add to, delete from or otherwise modify our comment policy at any time, without advance notice.
